Size Acceptance and Intuitive Eating Improve Health In
Overweight, Female Chronic Dieters

The goal of the study was to determine if the health at every size theory of eating intuitively (ie, listening to the body's cues of hunger, satiety, and appetite) worked.

The findings showed that the health at every size approach showed long-term behavior change while the typical diet approach did not.

By encouraging size acceptance, reduction in dieting behavior, and heightened awareness and response to body signals overweight women had improved health results.
