Honey Citrus Soother
3 tea bags (green or black)
1 cinnamon stick
3 cups boiling water
1 cup grapefruit juice
¼ cup honey
Boil 1 quart of hot water. Place teabags and cinnamon stick and steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove bags and cinnamon stick. Stir in grapefruit juice and honey. Makes 4 ½ cups
Cranberry Fizz
Fill a large tumbler three-quarters full with ice. Pour in ¼ cup cranberry juice, and 1 ½ teaspoons lime juice. Add club soda or lemon-lime soda to fill the glass. Stir and add a twist of lime. Sip with a straw!
Maple Graham Slam
1 cup low fat milk
6 squares graham crackers
¼ cup nonfat dry milk
1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup
6 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Makes 1 serving.
Honey Tea Cooler
1 pint fresh strawberries
¼ cup honey
1 can frozen orange juice concentrate
2 cups brewed green tea, cooled
In blender combine strawberries and honey, blend. Add orange juice, blend. Stir in cooled tea. Serve over ice. Makes 4 servings.
